7 volumes: Materials on the history and future of labour

Following on from the rapidly developing global presentation of history, the IGZA has created timelines in recent years that show the developments in the most important dimensions and their links. The books „Matrix der Arbeit -Materialien zur Geschichte und Zukunft der Arbeit“ (2023) are a detailed commentary on these timelines. They contain analyses, theses, tables and 1,100 graphics on the history and future of work.

However, the focus here is also on correctly summarising the empirical evidence from the various research fields of archaeology, anthropology, economics, history and the social sciences - in particular the common thread of productivity development.
