Managing Director of the IGZA
Cornelius Markert, born in 1986, studied International Business Studies in Paderborn and Ottawa (M.A.). He obtained his doctorate (Dr. rer. pol.) from the Faculty of Business Administration and Economics at the University of Paderborn with his thesis entitled „The Socio-Economics of the Employment Relationship“. From 2011 to 2017, he worked at the Institute for Labour and Human Resource Management at the Auto-Uni of the Volkswagen Group, most recently as programme manager. In 2026, he was appointed Professor of Labour and Human Resource Economics at the University of Labour.
Main areas of work: Quantitative social research, matrix of work, development of productivity and good work.
