The IGZA team is made up of experts from various disciplines. The staff, fellows, doctoral students, student assistants and interns come from the disciplines of history, economics, political economy, sociology, statistics and archaeology.

Fellow
Prof. Dr Christian Kellermann teaches and researches work and digitalisation at the University of Labour in Frankfurt/Main. He is also a senior researcher at the German Research Centre for Artificial Intelligence (DFKI) and deputy scientific director of the AI Campus. From 2017 to 2019, he was Managing Director of the IGZA and was responsible for the research areas of AI and robotics as well as the future of the welfare state. Prior to that, he worked in policy development and consulting in Germany, Scandinavia and at EU level.
Main areas of work: Digitalisation, artificial intelligence and the future of work.
