The IGZA team is made up of experts from various disciplines. The staff, fellows, doctoral students, student assistants and interns come from the disciplines of history, economics, political economy, sociology, statistics and archaeology.
Dr Horst Neumann
Chairman of the IGZA, Economist
Dr. Horst Neumann, born in 1949, is the founder and chairman of IGZA. The economist, who holds a doctorate, was deputy head of the IG Metall economic department, then HR director at Rasselstein, Thyssen Krupp Elevator and Audi, before he was responsible for the Human Resources, Organisation and IT departments as a member of the Volkswagen Group's board of management from 2005 to 2015.
