The IGZA team is made up of experts from various disciplines. The staff, fellows, doctoral students, student assistants and interns come from the disciplines of history, economics, political economy, sociology, statistics and archaeology.
Dr Horst Neumann
Chairman of the IGZA, Economist
Dr Horst Neumann, born in 1949, is the founder and CEO of IGZA. With a doctorate in economics, he was Deputy Head of the IG Metall Economics Department, then Labour Director at Rasselstein, Thyssen Krupp Elevator and Audi, before becoming Volkswagen Group Board Member responsible for Human Resources, Organisation and IT from 2005 to 2015.
