The IGZA team is made up of experts from various disciplines. The staff, fellows, doctoral students, student assistants and interns come from the disciplines of history, economics, political economy, sociology, statistics and archaeology.
Prof Dr Ulrich Jürgens
Fellow
Ulrich Jürgens studied political science and economics at the Free University of Berlin, worked at the Social Science Research Centre Berlin (WZB) from 1977 to 2011 and is an adjunct professor in the Department of Political and Social Sciences at the Free University of Berlin. Most recently head of the research group „Knowledge, Production Systems and Labour“ at the WZB. Since 2011 he has been in active retirement, among other things in the form of consulting activities and as a guest researcher in the project group „Globalisation, Production and Work“ at the WZB.
