Fellow
Tobias Kämpf, Dr. phil. habil., is Professor of Social Sciences, Work and Digitalisation at the University of Labour (Frankfurt/Main). As a sociologist, he has been researching the digitalisation of society and the future of work at the ISF Munich for over 15 years. Empirical research trips have taken him several times to Silicon Valley, Bangalore (India) and Eastern Europe. He completed his doctorate at the Technical University of Munich on the globalisation of software development (2008) and his habilitation at FAU Erlangen-Nuremberg on the digital transformation of modern working societies (2021).
His current fields of research range from new business models and the transformation of companies to the change in work through AI and agile forms of organisation to the consequences for employees and industrial relations. (Picture credits: Julia Wisswesser)
